Gerben Van Dyk
Gerben has been around for a while. But that does not mean he’s a dinosaur. Gerben is born in the Netherlands and has spent his youth there but moved to the United Kingdom in 1999.
He’s got vast experience in computing. He has been contracting and freelancing in IT and has had a few companies as well. All of them were related to computing. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering but has always worked with computers. The involvement moved from Computer Aided Design to Engineering Databases and then more generic computing, internet programming and smartcards. He also is involved in helping others with their web presence.
He currently lives in the Northeast of the United Kingdom with his wife and two children. Enjoying the views and not so much the weather. His hobbies are photography, reading & watching movies. He is also a member of a Public Speaking Club.
